About Neon Siege

Neon Siege is a free neon-soaked tower defence game from developer pixelhearth, made for phones and browsers. Waves of enemies travel a glowing road toward your core, and everything you do is aimed at making sure they never get there. You have four towers to work with — Pulse, Arc, Frost and Nova — and each one visibly changes as you upgrade it up to level 5, so a well-developed defence is easy to read at a glance. The pressure keeps shifting. Runners, brutes, swarms and shield drones each need a different response, and bosses can knock your towers out of action, so a setup that held a minute ago may suddenly need rethinking. After each wave you choose a draft card: faster towers, new pads, or wild cards that come with a catch. When the road gets crowded you can drop a NUKE or freeze the whole thing. Data cubes you gather during runs buy permanent upgrades between attempts, so progress carries over even when a defence falls. A first run covers 10 waves across two fields and takes about 15 minutes, which makes it easy to fit into a short break. On a touchscreen you build and upgrade by tapping; on a computer, Space starts a wave, P pauses and M mutes. Part of the Neon Arcade series, the game also has an expanded Unlimited version for players who want endless waves, more fields, a Sniper tower and extra upgrades, unlockable from the start screen with a code.
