Dots & Kingdoms

About Dots & Kingdoms
Dots & Kingdoms is a strategy board game that turns the pencil-and-paper pastime of Dots and Boxes into a fantasy contest over an island kingdom. On each turn you connect two neighboring towers with a border, and sealing a cell claims that land. Place the last of a cell's four borders and you take it, with another turn as a reward, so a good move can build into a chain. A third border is the trap: it can leave a cell ready for your opponent to claim. Once the map is fully divided, the larger territory wins. Play against an AI opponent at three levels, from friendly to ruthless, or share the same screen with a friend. Boards range from 3x3 to 6x6, so you can choose a two-minute skirmish or a longer siege. A daily challenge has its own rules and a daily treasure chest. Coins you earn can buy 12 kingdom themes, and there are 15 achievements plus six ranks from Novice to Great Conqueror. A four-step tutorial teaches the basics through play. Mouse, touch, and keyboard are all supported, including Tab to move between borders and Enter to place one. The game works on desktop and phone in portrait or landscape. English and Russian are available based on your browser language. Dots & Kingdoms is a finished game from solo developer ais235, created with an AI assistant: Claude contributed to the code and text, and the art was generated then cut, checked, and fitted by hand.
