Introduction
factory accident, by developer bobon4uto, is a browser-based management game set on an industrial floor where safety rules get broken and the bill comes due in accidents. You drag across the map to select workers, then click a work station to put them on the job; each station can hold up to four people at a time. Fresh workers keep arriving at the rest zone in the center of the map, which is also the one spot where accidents never happen. When an accident breaks out at a station, that station stops accepting new assignments, but you can still select the crew already inside and move them out to safety. A button above the rest zone lets you pay to speed up how quickly new workers show up, so there is a constant trade-off between waiting for more hands and making do with the ones you have. Right-clicking undoes a selection, and the mouse wheel handles zoom. Everything also works from the keyboard: WASD, the arrow keys or HJKL move an on-screen cursor, shift makes it travel faster, E or the spacebar stands in for a left click, Q for a right click, I and O zoom, and P restores the default view. The result is a compact juggling act about keeping an eye on several stations at once and reacting before an accident costs you people.
