Introduction

Skyvar Idle is an online idle role-playing game from quietanvilgames, set among floating islands in the Sundered Isles. Players move between islands by airship, develop a personal island, and keep their character progressing while away. Ten skills cover gathering, crafting, cooking, outfitting, glyphcraft, windsailing, and combat, with training continuing offline. Island building includes workshops, a farm, a quarry, decorations, and unlockable themes, while friends can visit and use what has been built. Combat is designed around idle play but adds loadouts, talent trees, food, glyphs, and automatic loadout switching. Group activities include party dungeons, a world boss fought by everyone at once, guilds with their own islands, Trade Halls, chat, and friends. Daily tasks, a Renown Store, quests, and achievements give players longer-term goals. The browser version is free to play for a limited time, shares the same world as the Steam version, and uses Steam sign-in or a name-and-password account without email. Its server-side setup keeps the browser version on equal footing with desktop. The game is made by a very small team, with one developer directing design and AI assisting with code and artwork, which is selected and reviewed by hand.
