Introduction

Capivara Caos is a short action roguelike from developer edubraga7 about a capybara in Brazil's Pantanal wetlands who would rather stay calm than deal with a swamp's worth of pests. You steer the capybara through ten-minute runs while its weapons fire on their own, so the focus stays on moving, dodging, and surviving long enough to face the Anaconda. The roster includes five playable capybaras, each with a different starting weapon and passive trait. Weapons can be evolved by maxing them out and matching them with passive items found in elite chests. Coins earned during runs go toward a market meta-shop with twelve permanent upgrades. The pixel-art action is built in Godot and mixes bullet-hell pressure with a survivors-like structure, plus a day/night cycle and bosses. Controls include WASD or arrow keys for movement, number keys or mouse clicks for level-up choices, and full gamepad support. A Portuguese version is also included.
