Torch Acorn: Into the Dark Burrow

About Torch Acorn: Into the Dark Burrow
In Torch Acorn: Into the Dark Burrow, you steer a small acorn that carries the last burning torch through lightless tunnels. The flame is your only light and it doubles as a countdown: every step you take eats into it, and the safe glow around you tightens as it drains. Oil drops buy you a little more time, while old braziers refill the torch completely and keep on burning, so the passages around them stay bright permanently. Keys unlock doors, and the goal is always the exit before the darkness catches up. dotorium has put together ten hand-made burrows that begin with a short warm-up and build toward a level called The Long Night. Every stage has been checked by a solver, so none of them is impossible, and the fastest route defines the three-star mark. Z undoes a step, R restarts, and Esc opens level select. You can play with the arrow keys or WASD, by swiping, or with the on-screen pad on phones. Sound effects are generated in the browser with WebAudio, and your progress is saved on your device. The game was made for AI Browser Game Jam 5 on the theme of Torch; the code, levels and text were written with Claude (AI), while a person chose the idea, tested it and edited it. No outside art or sound files were used.
