Introduction

Área Técnica is a free Brazilian football management simulation from developer diogopq. The career starts with an unknown coach accepting a Série D club and building a path round by round toward bigger competitions and, eventually, national-team opportunities. It covers four divisions with promotion and relegation, plus the Copa do Brasil, Libertadores and Sul-Americana. Matches can be followed live minute by minute, with an animated pitch or play-by-play narration, stoppage time, VAR, close-up penalties and shootouts where the penalty taker order is chosen. From the touchline, five substitutions and changes to mentality, pressing and formation are available, while opposing AI also responds during games. Squad selection uses album-style cards with bronze, silver, gold and special tiers. Career management includes reputation, board confidence, targets, dismissal and offers from other clubs, as well as the chance to manage a national team in qualifiers, World Cup, Copa América and Olympics. Transfer work includes two-stage negotiations with club and player, loans, release clauses, bids for your players and a scout who assesses potential and points out talent. Off the pitch, morale, supporters, unpaid wages, strikes, fights, parties, press pressure and consequential decisions add to the manager role, while fitness, injuries and training matter when the calendar is crowded. It can be played in a browser or downloaded for Windows and Linux.
