Admiral 6 Skittles V2

About Admiral 6 Skittles V2
Admiral 6 Skittles V2 takes the pub game of Dorset skittles into the browser, and this playtest build finally lets you share the alley with someone else. Developer breakdance101 has added online one-on-one matches: one player creates a private room, hands an invitation code to a friend, and the two of you work through three games of traditional nine-pin skittles. The nicer part is what happens between your turns. Instead of a blank waiting screen, you sit in the virtual pub and watch your opponent's ball run down the alley and topple pins as it happens. Spectating got real attention in this version: the camera now gives a clearer, unobstructed view, the on-screen touch controls disappear while you watch, and a green-and-gold scores button opens the latest match information without covering the action. You also hear the ball strike, pins collide and the general pub ambience while you wait. Under the hood, the live feed was doubled from ten to twenty updates per second, which makes ball and pin movement look smoother for whoever is watching. Everything runs in a browser on desktop and mobile. Keep in mind this is an early multiplayer playtest, so bugs, audio problems and rough performance are still being worked on.
