Introduction

Astro Rebound is a compact space-themed physics puzzle from developer blocker147. Every stage hands you a single elastic band, a stranded planet, and a wormhole to reach. You drag across the playfield to stretch the band into position, pull either endpoint to change its angle or length, or slide the whole band somewhere else, then fire the planet and watch the plan unfold. Asteroid walls and springy rebounds let the planet bounce around, come back to the same band, and be sent off again, so many solutions come from lining up a chain of redirects rather than one perfect shot. Each level also hides three optional star fragments; grab them if you want, or ignore them and concentrate on getting the planet home. All 30 levels are open from the start, and retries leave the band exactly where it was, which makes small adjustments quick instead of restarting from scratch. A × button removes the band, and a menu lets you jump to another level. Progress is saved locally in the browser on the same device, with no cloud backup. On a touchscreen, one finger performs the same drag gestures. The developer notes that AI assistance was used for the game code, cover artwork, and page text.
